Historical Society, Museum and Visitors Center

Sleepytown has a long and rich history dating back to the settlers' first arrival here in 1835. The Historical Society and Museum is a great place to come and discover the individuals and events who helped make the town what it is today. View extensive documents and photographs from the town's archives including a special section on the strange goings-on the town has endured from the moment it was settled.

The Visitors Center provides visitor information, brochures, ghost tour reservations (provided by Fritz and Betty Shanks) and a gift shop.

Located on the square. Hours are 9:00am to 4:00pm Monday through Saturday. Closed Sundays.
